BANKSY — Walled Off Hotel Box Set

An early example of Banksy’s sought-after Walled Off Hotel Box Set, featuring an image inspired by the artist’s original mural on the Israeli separation barrier in Bethlehem. The artwork depicts the wall’s watchtowers reimagined as a swing ride, juxtaposing childhood innocence with the realities of division and conflict.

Housed in a custom white shadow-box frame with white spacers, the piece incorporates a fragment of painted concrete designed to resemble the separation wall itself. This example is particularly distinctive for its vivid red, black, and green detailing—the colors of the Palestinian flag. Each concrete fragment was individually painted by local artisans for the Walled Off Hotel, making every example unique.

Released beginning in 2017, these pieces were sold exclusively through the hotel’s gift shop in Bethlehem, West Bank, and were available only to hotel guests. This example retains its original hotel purchase receipt and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity issued by our gallery.
